2000

  • Im Jahr 2000 begann Fachärztin Assoc. Prof. Basak Şeker ihr Studium der Zahnmedizin an der Fakultät für Zahnmedizin der Hacettepe-Universität in der türkischen Hauptstadt Ankara, wo sie erfolgreich ihren Abschluss machte.

2008

  • Im Jahr 2008 arbeitete sie als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin an der Fakultät für Zahnmedizin, Abteilung für Parodontologie, der Near East University in Nordzypern und gehörte 2007 zu den Gründungsmitarbeitern.

2012

  • Im Jahr 2012 schloss sie ihre Doktorarbeit ab und erhielt den Titel „PhD und Doktor der Wissenschaften“ von der Abteilung für Parodontologie sowie den Titel „Parodontologie-Spezialistin“ vom Gesundheitsministerium der Republik Türkei.

2012

  • Im Jahr 2012 arbeitete sie als Assistenzprofessorin an der Fakultät für Zahnmedizin der Abteilung für Parodontologie der Universität Eskişehir Osmangazi und nahm an der Gründungsphase dieser Fakultät teil. Sie wurde auch in die Fakultät für Pädagogik berufen, wo sie klinische und formale Ausbildung auf Bachelor- und Masterniveau erteilte, was sie bis heute fortführt.

2022

  • Im Jahr 2022 wurde sie neben ihren klinischen und akademischen Studien an der Universität zur außerordentlichen Professorin ernannt und setzt ab diesem Datum ihre klinischen Studien an der Dentarma Turkey Dental Aesthetics and Implantology Clinic in Antalya fort.

Sie hat mehr als 30 Artikel in angesehenen in- und ausländischen wissenschaftlichen Zeitschriften und mehr als 50 Beiträge auf nationalen und internationalen Kongressen geschrieben.

Zu ihren beruflichen Interessen zählen die Zahnimplantatchirurgie, die chirurgische Behandlung von Periimplantitis-Gingiva, Zahnfleischerkrankungen und -behandlungen sowie Laseranwendungen.

Sie ist mit dem Spezialisten für prothetische Zahnheilkunde Prof. Dr. Emre Şeker verheiratet und sie haben einen Sohn und eine Tochter.
