Well what can I say about this amazing professional team? I simply couldn’t afford the treatment in the UK as my teeth were so bad. I had come to terms with the fact that at 39 years old I would have to have a full set of dentures. I have my own business in sales and it had gotten to the point, I felt like I couldn’t work because I knew people would be looking at my rotten teeth. My confidence had reached an all time low and started researching dental treatment in Turkey. I had searched for months for someone that I felt I could trust but it was like a minefield! Then one day (after messaging and being plagued for weeks by about 30 other dentists) I found DentArma! I spoke to Emre Seker who I found out he was the owner of the clinic with his wife and both were professors in implantology in Turkey we spoke over WhatsApp and immediately felt as if he didn’t just want another patient, he genuinely wanted me to get my smile back. He was caring, empathetic and sincere. In March (a few months after making my decision) I flew to Antalya on my own, I was expecting to be in lots of pain and didn’t want my family seeing me going through it, so I decided to go on my own. Which is another testament to how much I trusted the professor. I met his wife and the rest of the team, I couldn’t believe how lovely they all were, I had my x-rays and had photos taken for social media, which normally would get me worked up knowing people could see the state on my teeth up close, but my Co ordinaror and the social media guy made me feel unashamed and kept reminding me this was only the start to an amazing journey. After this the professor got straight to work. I had all top teeth (what was left of them) extracted, all on 6 at the top, 3 implants on the bottom jaw, sinus lifts, bone grafts, root canal and and he even picked up an infection I had and he removed that at the same time. His beautiful wife then came and stitched me up. Although quite a lot of work was done that day and I did swell up, I had NO PAIN. I was numb for a few hours after, but when I had all feeling back I didn’t even need to take any pain relief! A few days later the transfer driver (who was also fantastic) took me to the clinic for a fitting of my temporary fixed teeth, again no pain and even when they fixed them in properly I felt nothing. Only thing I did feel was my emotions come to the surface and I starting crying because there were no black holes where my teeth should be! There were teeth! Over the next 4 months I loved my temporary teeth and people couldn’t believe that they were temporary! I couldn’t wait to come back for my finals, not just for my teeth but to see everyone again. Dr Tashin done my impressions and got my final teeth and crowns ready. We chose the colour together and We spoke about the shape. Again an amazing doctor he was kind and patient the whole way through. The professor and his wife were never far away though, even when busy with surgery they would come to check on me and my progress in between. Now that my finals are in and my crowns are done (again no pain) I feel that I have my life back! DentArma really have changed my life and I will be forever thankful to all the team. I have written such a long and detailed review because I understand what people are going through, trying to find that perfect dentist in a flooded country of them. I know how hard it is to put your trust in someone that you’ve never met but honestly, stop looking!
